After the 2024 Six Nations ended, we evaluated all the players in the Championship. Ireland, the champions, were assessed last. Andy Farrell utilized 32 players during the tournament, with three original squad members, Jacob Stockdale, Tom Stewart, and Nick Timoney, not playing at all. Ireland appeared poised for back-to-back Grand Slams after three bonus point wins in the first three rounds, but a loss to England halted their run. They bounced back by defeating Scotland to retain their title. Here is our player ranking for Ireland.
Starting with the outside backs:
Ciaran Frawley: Made a strong impact in his first start at fullback but was sidelined due to injury. Good potential for the future. 6
Hugo Keenan: Classy and consistent performance despite injuries. 7
Jordan Larmour: Showed glimpses of his talent but failed to make a significant impact. 4
James Lowe: An important asset with improved defense and notable attacking moves. 8
Calvin Nash: Impressed on debut with some standout moments. 7

Bundee Aki: A powerhouse inside center who performed well throughout, apart from one quiet game.

In the halfbacks:
Harry Byrne: Limited game time with brief appearances. 4
Craig Casey: Showed promise in his lone appearance. 7
Jack Crowley: Stepped up as a key player in the tournament. 8
Jamison Gibson-Park: A vital player in Ireland's success.
