The X (formerly Twitter) account for the manga series Demon Lord, Retry! R announced a new anime sequel to air in 2024. The sequel will feature a new cast with some original members reprising their roles. The series, based on a sequel manga by Kurone Kanzaki and Amaru Minotake, began as a web novel in 2016. While the specific premiere date is not yet confirmed, the sequel is expected to air in Fall 2024. Kazuomi Koga is directing the anime, with Katsuhiko Takayama handling scripts and Minori Homura designing characters.

The series will include Kenjiro Tsuda and other new cast members. J-Novel Club has licensed the original light novel series and manga, with the sequel manga also receiving an anime adaptation.
